Hobby

So, I think I want to get into Photography.  I've been thinking about this for years now.  I love taking pictures and I have a camera but I'm seriously thinking about getting a good camera.  I found some classes I can take as well.  What better place to get into photography than Hawaii?  LOL  For now I'm researching cameras.  A friend of mine who is into photography uses a Canon Rebel T1i digital SLR.  It's her starter camera.  I may get that one.  I'm just horrible at researching electronics.

So much for doing this everyday.  I forgot.  Things have been getting rocky here.  Just cause I'm tired of living in the hotel.  I WANT MY OWN HOME!!!!  Ok.  I feel a bit better now. 

I will note that I probably won't blog much until I get into our home but I will try.

Newbie

So, it's been a long time since I've written in a blog...I guess I'm a newbie.  Hope I can keep up with this.  I should have plenty to write about since I moved to beautiful Hawaii!  My new adventure starts now and I hope I make the most of these next 4 years.  The water here is so beautiful!  I've never seen such clear and bluish green water before.  It takes my breath away! 

Still living in the hotel.  The house should be ready to move into within the next couple of weeks.  I can't wait to get all my stuff.  Never realized I would just miss "stuff" until you don't have it for a few months. 

I have gone snorkeling, and swimming at the beach (several times of course!).  We actually went into a sub that takes people to the bottom of the ocean!  We saw some shipwrecks and a few downed planes.  No sharks though.  LOL.  We've also gone to the USS Arizona memorial at Pearl Harbor.  It is so moving and sad.  We still need to go to the USS Missouri and a few other memorials there.  Plenty of time for that.

Right now I'm getting over a bad cold.  I had to go to the ER a couple of weeks ago.  The doc thought I was borderline pneumonia.  I would have thought I had bronchitis with all the coughing and wheezing.  I thought I was over it and we went and did several things over the week.  Now the cough is coming back and I'm out of meds.  If it's still bad on Monday I'll go to the clinic since I have a PCM now.

Saw some awesome (and so so) movies the last few weeks.  I even got J to watch a couple of horror movies and he's not a fan of those!  LOL  I'll post about them later.  Now I'm just going to look around blogger....
